BACKGROUND: The Disneyland Platinum Jubilee campaign was a conceptual marketing project celebrating Disneyland’s 70th anniversary through a cohesive promotional campaign. The project explored how themed branding and visual storytelling could capture the excitement, nostalgia, and celebratory atmosphere of the park. I developed the campaign’s visual identity, drawing inspiration from Disneyland’s iconic design elements while incorporating a modern Platinum Jubilee aesthetic. The campaign included a range of promotional assets designed to communicate the anniversary celebration across multiple brand touchpoints.
PROCESS: I began by researching Disneyland’s historical branding, past anniversary campaigns, and visual themes associated with the park. Using these references, I developed a celebratory concept centered on the Platinum Jubilee theme. I created the campaign’s visual system by selecting typography, color palettes, and graphic elements inspired by Disneyland’s magical atmosphere. I designed a series of marketing materials including merchandise concepts, environmental signage, and promotional graphics. I also edited and composited photography to integrate it seamlessly into the designs while maintaining a consistent visual style throughout the campaign.
RESULTS: The final project resulted in a cohesive marketing campaign featuring promotional graphics, merchandise concepts, and branded signage. The work demonstrated my ability to develop a unified campaign identity while applying design across multiple formats, including environmental graphics and product design. The project highlighted skills in branding, photo editing, and marketing design within a themed entertainment context.
